‘Cripps Pink’ Fresh Arkansas Grown Apples

Cripps Pink Apple
Arkansas Grown
Originated in Western Australia in 1970 at the Western Australia Department of Agriculture's Stoneville Research Station. Plant breeder John Cripps crossed two varieties:
- Golden Delicious — An American Apple-contributing sweetness and flavor.
- Lady Williams — An Australian Apple - contributing acidity and other characteristics.
The result was Cripps Pink, (sometimes marketed as ‘Pink Lady’) it’s an apple with a long growing season and a distinctive balance of sugar and acidity.
Cripps Pink has a very recognizable flavor profile:
High Sweetness, Noticeable Acidity(very refreshing), Firm Dense Crisp Texture, Very Juicy, Sweet-Tart balance(Sweet AND Tangy), with Honeyed and Floral Notes, Creamy White Flesh slow to turn brown.
