Native Texas, Beautiful & Tough, Heat tolerant, Resiliant, Deer Resistant.  Reliable Low Shrubby Native Texas Perennial. Texas Tough. Root Hardy to USDA hardiness Zone 8. Semi-Evergreen but can die down to the ground during a really hard freeze, but,  does re-emerge back in late spring if it does. Reliably Cold Hardy Roots. Likes Full Sun (needs at least 1/2 day of full sun) and does Not do well in Shade.  Grows 1'-3' tall(usually just about 1’)  and  1'-2' wide. Blooms in fall after the equinox - normally late September until first frost, sometimes longer.  Daylength dependent blooming.
