  • Mexican Bush Sage Purple/Purple - Salvia leucantha 'Midnight'

    Beautiful & Tough, Heat tolerant, Resiliant, Deer Resistant.  Reliable Shrubby Native Texas Perennial. Texas Tough. Root Hardy to USDA hardiness Zone 8. Usually dies down to the ground at the first hard freeze and comes back in spring. Likes Full Sun and does Not do well in Shade.  Grows 2'-4' tall and  2'-4' wide. Striking, Purple on Purple spikes of Flowers, sporadically in Spring, less to none in Summer, then beautiful Full bloom in Fall. Daylength dependent blooming. This variety is different than the one with Purple/White blooms as well as different from the 'Santa Barbara' more compact version.
