A good reliable tough Native Texas perennial.  Usually Root Hardy in our Zone,  USDA Cold Hardiness Zone 8B.  This one thrives in Morning sun afternoon shade or dappled light.  Sometimes can tolerate full sun.  Doesn't bloom as much in heavy heavy shade.  Deer Resistant. Drought tolerant.  Prefers to go 'Sponge Dry' between really thorough waterings. Really interesting cobalt blue blooms surrounded by black sepals below the petals. One of our favorites. One of those rare finds: Bright Blue Blooms in the shade and deer resistant. 'Killah Plant'.
